• WHAT CAN A CASITA HOME BE USED FOR?

The answer from our marketing team would be “to fulfill your dreams”. And while this is true, we know that your dreams can have a different shape and purpose. In short, Casita Home is simply a living space, like all those you see every day. But more convenient and luxurious. Therefore, it can be used as a home, rental suite, office, guest house, granny suite, in-law suite, cabin or cottage, multi-unit apartment complex, etc.

• WHAT IS THE INTERIOR CEILING HEIGHT?

In our standard series, the interior ceiling height is 9ft. Don’t worry though, just like your dreams have no limits, neither does your ceiling. If you have any special requirements, please contact us.

• HOW DOES A BANK CLASSIFY A CASITA HOME?

A Casita Home is a Home. Just it. No further complications. We certify all our homes under your local required factory-built modular status. This assures that your home has been engineered and built to meet the local building code of where it will be permanently placed. We will provide you with everything you need to make the arrangements, and we will be happy to advise you at all times.

• IS A CASITA HOME CUSTOMIZABLE?

• HOW DO THE CITIES VIEW A CASITA HOMES?

Our homes have been designed and sealed by registered professionals to be compliant with the local building code and are permitted by local municipalities as standard permanent homes. This will guarantee that your City will approve the project with no more complications than those involved in a conventional construction process. Like our modular solutions, the processes for getting them are simple and convenient.

• DOES CASITA HOME SUPPLY LAND?

A Casita Home does not come with its own land, but we adapt to the needs you require. Our team will work with you to ensure that the land you choose is optimal for the installation and will accompany you in the process to ensure that the plot and your new home get along as well as two old friends. A Casita Home fits very well as a primary residence or in your backyard as secondary dwelling, as well as in remote areas and as a cabin or cottage.

• WHERE CAN I PUT A CASITA HOME?

Literally, where any other house could be located. Our system of modules is coupled to a permanent fixture to become your new residence, visually and in a legal perspective. The only difference between a conventional house and a Casita Home is our high standard of luxury and convenience!

• IF IT'S CONSIDERED PERMANENT DOES THAT MEAN I CAN'T MOVE IT?

A Casita Home is inherently modular, it comes together in modules and can be dismantled back into its original modules. It is typically welded to a permanent foundation and bolted together onsite. With the right tools and approvals, you can relocate your home in the future. Our engineering team will be happy to consider all the scenarios you may face in the future to guarantee that your needs will be covered for decades to come thanks to our Casita Homes.

• HOW IS A CASITA HOME INSULATED?

We use an ultra-efficient certified polyurethane closed cell foam, which essentially eliminates any air gaps or air transfer. This will keep your Casita Home cool in the summer and warm in the winter while not hurting your wallet. We apply the latest technology with the deepest knowledge of your needs and preferences to provide you with finishes like this that guarantee your maximum comfort.

• HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A CASITA HOME?

We know that you are willing to come in and live. We are eager to start building. But we must be patient, your new home is close by and requires a process. Between 2 and 4 months will be needed to adjust the design, get your permits and complete the installation. Permits vary by jurisdiction and can be as quick as 1 month or as longs as 6+ months. The quicker you begin the pre-construction phase, the sooner you can have your home ready! It typically only takes us 10-12 weeks to actually build your home.

• HOW DO I FINANCE MY CASITA HOME?

There are a number of ways to finance a Factory-Built Home: Home Equity Line of Credit, Construction Mortgage, Refinance Plus improvements, Refinance, Purchase Plus Improvements. If you would like to discuss in more depth, we would be glad to refer you to lenders we have worked with in the past.
